About the Owners & Managers

​Otto and Wendy were born in California and relocated to Hana over 30 years ago when they decided to start a family. They are now the proud parents of two girls who grew up in beautiful Hana, Maui.
    Michelle, their oldest daughter, attended business school in California and has returned to Hana to help run the family business. She is now the main point of contact for reservations.
    Otto has worked in construction for over 30 years. After completely remodeling their cottage and transforming it into secluded an island vacation rental, Hale Nanea, their services are now directed towards you, their guests. Koali Ranch Cottage is owned by a family friend in Hana and managed by this family.
    ​By helping create a relaxing and enjoyable stay for you in Hana, they are constantly reminded of how lucky they are to live in this true paradise.
